Educational Background

  • Dr. Kilani attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica and graduated in 2011. She then completed her general psychiatry training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA in 2016 followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2018.

To have time to gather sufficient background information when treating individuals 18 and under, Dr. Kilani prefers to meet with the individual’s parent(s) or guardian(s) first for a 60-minute evaluation, then meet with the individual and parent(s) or guardian(s) together, about one – two weeks later for a second 60-minute evaluation.

Dr. Kilani was honored with a teaching citation as an “Accomplished” teacher by the Tufts Medical Center Dean’s Office. This recognition underscores her dedication to education and her ability to inspire and educate future medical professionals.
