Gabriela (Gabbie) Amaro is a bilingual (English and Spanish) dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized mental health care. With 14 years of nursing experience Gabbie has had the privilege of working with diverse populations, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. Gabbie’s focus is in treating both children and adolescents (ages 12 and up) as well as adults.

Education and Credentials

Gabbie holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree (MSN) from Saint Xavier University, as well as a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialty in psychiatry (PMHNP) from Rush University. Gabbie continually is expanding her knowledge through ongoing education and training in the latest evidence-based practices.
